A few guidelines that will help to ensure a smooth start:

  • your practice begins when you walk onto the yoga mat
  • if you are new to yoga classes, please discuss with us which session would be most appropriate to meet your needs
  • please come half an hour early for your first class so that we can run through the basics of yoga practice
  • wear light and comfortable clothes, so that you can move comfortabably
  • for the class we will provide everything (mats, blankets, cushions, props etc.)
  • do not eat a heavy meal before the class, in the morning you should eat something light to give you energy
  • our classes start promptly – please ensure you are ready on your mat in time
  • please turn off your mobile phone
  • if you are late or need to leave early, please do so as quietly as possible to avoid disturbing the class
  • always practice at your own pace, listen to your body and keep your heart open
